Well what can we say about McCarthy Wedding Nanny services? Since the day we enquired, Laura has been nothing but fantastic. We have never left our daughter Polly with any babysitter outside family so we were worried about how it would work on the day, but almost immediately when Laura called, Polly warmed to her fun and caring nature. On the day, Laura was a dream. We didn’t have to worry once, Polly was so happy to play and be with Laura and even all the guests were complimenting how amazing she was with Polly. She provided the perfect balance of keeping us informed and knowing exactly when to distract Polly and when the evening came - we were able to fully enjoy every second knowing that she was tucked up in bed safe and happy. Laura was absolutely fantastic with our 13 month old. She is such a happy and considerate person and it really reflects in how she handles the little ones. She brought along toys and other distractions for him but made sure to check all of our preferences beforehand. She communicated with us actively and we never had any concerns. We booked Mc Carthy babysitting services for our wedding a few weeks ago, to look after our little girls on the day, and It was hands down one of the best decisions we made. To say Laura saved the day is an understatement! As a mum of 3 and a bride I was worried I wouldn’t be able to switch off mom mode on my wedding day but I was so wrong! From the minute Laura arrived I knew I had nothing to worry about! She followed the kids lead, she knew when to leave them be and when they needed to be brought away for some fun. My almost 2yr old was happy as Larry with her and Laura was so kind and empathetic to all 3 kids! When my 5yr old got overwhelmed after the church she didn’t try to take him away she knew he just needed some time next to me and she didn’t push him which I really appreciated!! We had her for the 24hr package and I arrived to the apartment the next morning to happy kids playing that had their breakfast and snacks and were so well looked after! Travelling to the other side of the world for a family wedding, and having never used a babysitter before, I wasn’t sure what to expect and understandably felt slightly nervous. Upon finding McCarthy Wedding Nanny Service and chatting to Laura, all my nerves dissipated. She has such a warm and genuine energy that could be felt even over the phone. The moment she came into the wedding she was prepared with activities, and our 2 daughters, 3 and 7, only wanted to spend time with her! They had such an amazing time in the hotel with her, dancing to their favourite music and colouring. She sent us photos of them throughout the night, keeping us in the loop the whole time. We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a Nanny that was more intuitive, kindhearted and fun for the girls.
